Get Involved
Whether you’re a Veteran, a musician, or a supporter of our mission - there’s a place for you here. Every session is open to the public too: come listen, sing along, or just see what it’s about.
Bands For Heroes is built on showing up consistently and creating an environment where Veterans feel valued. Every act of support helps strengthen a space where healing can happen one note at a time.
Four Ways to Show Up
Veterans: Join the Band
If you’re a Veteran who wants to play, sing, or simply be part of something meaningful, we want to hear from you. No experience is necessary - just a willingness to show up and try.
Volunteers: Support the Mission
Community advocates, logistics volunteers, and music supporters are all welcome. If you believe Veterans deserve more than words of appreciation, we’d love to talk about how your time can help.
Donors: Give Today
Transportation is one of the biggest barriers Veterans face just to show up. Your donation covers gas and rideshare costs, so no one has to miss a Monday over something they can’t afford.
Sponsors: Partner With Us
Bands For Heroes welcomes sponsors who believe Veterans deserve real opportunities for connection and belonging. Your partnership helps fund consistent programming, transportation, and the equipment every rehearsal depends on.
Bring It to Your Community
Ours is just the beginning. Bands For Heroes started with one Veteran and one weekly session - now we’re helping other Veteran leaders start the same thing in their own communities, working with local VA facilities, American Legion posts, and Veteran organizations along the way.
Veterans in Florida, Montana, and Washington have already reached out about starting chapters of their own. Tell us where you are, and we’ll help you begin.
What Veterans experience through this program is not only music, but belonging. Your presence means more than you realize.
